WHAT

Four days of school exchange working on collaborative projects with your peers at St Anthony’s. Are you ready to use English to build bridges, discover other cultures and get to know part of our Canossian family on the other side of the world?

A trip to Singapore wouldn’t be complete without experiencing its vast biodiversity in parks, gardens, giant greenhouses and exploring forests and mangroves on adjacent islands! We will discover what makes Singapore a ‘city of the future’ , while also learning about its history, traditional cultures and religions by visiting places of worship and museums. If you’re ready for an adventure that could change the way you see the world, this trip is for you.

WHY

To explore the values that make us Canossians and understand our shared story, and to learn from one another. Seeing a society that prioritizes quality of life and celebrates diversity allows us to imagine our future with a fresh perspective.

Application Process

Students who are interested must write a letter of application to Mrs Whiles explaining:

● your reasons for wanting to participate
● what you hope to learn from the experience
● what you will contribute to the group and to the collaborative projects
● what may be challenging for you and how you will deal with that challenge

Your letter should be in English and sent by email to Mrs Whiles by Friday 18th October. Interviews will take place in the afternoons of Thursday 24th and Friday 25th October.

The application letters will be assessed by the School Leadership (Consiglio di Direzione), along with the Class Co-ordinators and English Teachers. Candidates being considered will be invited to an interview.
